- X10 Motion Detector Floodlights detect motion and turn on when dark. These floodlights also send X10 signals to 8 addresses. The first 4 addresses can be set to go on when motion is detected and off after an adjustable time interval. The second 4 addresses can be set to turn on the X10 floodlights when it's dark and then turn them off at dawn. The X10 Motion Detector Floodlight's photocell with adjustable sensitivity detects light level. The adjustable passive infrared sensor with 110° coverage detects motion within a 40 foot range. Requires two 150 watt incandescent, fluorescent, or halogen floodlight bulbs (sold separately).
- Adjust the X10 Motion Detector Floodlights settings for time delay and sensitivity to exactly fit your needs. Set the length of time that the X10 Motion Detector Floodlights stay on after movement has stopped and no further motion has been detected to anywhere between 6 seconds to 30 minutes. These motion detecting floodlights can be used to control virtually any load up to 500 watts with the use of the appropriate lighting fixtures. The floodlights use a mechanical relay much like an appliance module so the module is compatible with virtually any kind of light bulb (not included).
- For easy addressing, insert an X10 Code Clicker (sold separately) into the dial wheel. The sensor automatically senses motion over a wide area (110°) at a distance of up to 40 feet. In addition to turning on dual floodlights when it senses motion, the X10 motion detector module can turn on up to 4 X10 modules (light or appliance) in or around your home based on motion or at dusk and then off again at dawn.
- You can turn on the floodlights manually using any X10 controller (such as a keychain remote or wireless switch) with an X10 transceiver or security system base receiver. When turned on manually, the floodlights stay on and the motion detection is temporarily disabled until the floodlights are turned off from an X10 transmitter. The built-in photocell prevents operation during daylight hours and senses when to turn on and off lights for dusk-to-dawn operation. The X10 floodlights can be used with the EagleEye outdoor motion sensor and a transceiver to expand its motion sensor's field of view to farther areas. You can even use the X10 Motion Detector Floodlights with a chime module so that it functions as an automatic doorbell. If you want to turn on every light with the same X10 address, install the Leviton X10 Motion Detector instead.
- The completely weatherproof module features a hidden control panel and a gray finish.
